Now that the CPU is in, we can install the CPU fan. This is the mechanism that cools the CPU. You'll need to check the bottom of the CPU fan for heat sink (heat sink is a substance that conducts heat very well and transfers heat from the CPU to the fan's metal). If you don't have heat sink you'll have to buy a tube of it, then apply in a straight line down the middle of the CPU. Then place the fan above the four holes on the motherboard and push down on the pegs diagonal from each other first for proper weight distribution.
